The TroTred cable trough is a patented, registered and trademarked design and has been designed to offer the rail industry a combined railway cable route and safe walkway. The product complies with Network Rail’s specification for a safe walking route.

Network Rail Partnership Award for Innovation 2010

Trojan Services Ltd was awarded the ‘Network Rail Partnership Award for Innovation 2010’ for the TroTredcombined railway cable trough and walkway design.

TroTred provides a 700mm wide walking surface with a large cable trough capacity underneath it. The lids can be bolted or screwed into position making it relatively tamper proof. If necessary cable can be held in place within the trough area using cable cleats which can be screwed into the bottom of the trough unit.

Installation - Bathgate

TroTred sidewalls can be easily adapted on site to take TroTrof units, offering the ability to create a “T” piece at various horizontal and vertical angles.

TroTred has been successfully installed on Network Rail Scotland’s award winning Airdrie to Bathgate rail link and the Paisley Corridor project, where it has proven to offer considerable cost savings to the project over traditional cable route and Safecess installations. A recent installation at Three Bridges has also shown the efficiency of installing the product over other products.

We would like to advise that Site Support Management Ltd is now under new ownership.
